The Order of the Golden Sword
The Golden Sword, formerly known as the Hasta Belli (Spear of War), is given for achievement in the field of heavy fighting. The token is an eagle grasping a sheaf of arrows in its claws, worn as a pendant.
The Order confers an Award of Arms to the bearer, if they are not already armigerous. It is a Order of Achievement.
